JAMMU, Apr 28: A woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Chand Nagar area of Jewel here, police sources said.
The deceased has been identified as Sunita Gupta, wife of late Ramesh Gupta, a resident of Chand Nagar near Jewel. She was admitted in GMCH Jammu on April 26 this year after she allegedly consumed poisonous substance.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Nowabad Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
