JAMMU, Apr 19: Apni Party today held reach out programme among displaced Kashmiri pandits in District Udhampur on the direction of general secretary Vijay Bakaya.
During the programme, the membership drive programme was also organized in which newly appointed J&K UT coordinators of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits including Vinod Pandita and Sanjay Dhar participated.
Many prominent including Ashok Kumar Bhat, Anil Wali, Girdhari Lal, Romesh Koul, Anil Pandita, Joginder Singh and many others joined the party.
While addressing the meeting, Vinod Pandita reiterated party’s stand on restoration of statehood and assured them that the solution of their day to day problems is and was always the priority of Jammu Kashmir Apni Party.
Pandita appealed the displaced community to come forward and strengthen the hands of the Apni Party as it is the only party which does politics of truthfulness, transparency and honesty and aware the gathering about the important works, done by the party since its inception for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sanjay Dhar urged the party workers to disseminate the party policies and programmes among the people living at grass root level.
Dhar appealed the Lieutenant Governor to resolve the issues of the displaced Kashmiri employees who were posted in different departments in Kashmir under PM package and ensure adequate accommodation, regular supply of drinking water, electricity in all transit camps besides renovation of dilapidated temples and shrines in Kashmir.
Hans Raj Dogra and Nasir Wani, Satpal Chalotra, Kewal Krishan and other were present during the programme, whereas Ashok Kumar Bhat and Ashwani Kumar Bhat were the main organisers of the event and said that main aim of organizing this programme was to educate people about visionary programmes and policies of the Apni Party.
