JAMMU, Apr 12: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta along with Baldev Singh Billawaria, Corporator and former chairman of Health and Sanitation Committee JMC kickstarted slab work of Ram Leela Hall at Ward 56 with an estimated cost of Rs 70 lakhs.
While addressing the gatherings, Kavinder Gupta said that development works across Gandhi Nagar constituency are in full swing. He said instructions have been issued to cover each and every pocket of the constituency by upgrading the existing civic amenities and developing new in the areas lacking the same. He said the BJP led Government at the Centre is resolute to create better living conditions for the people and assured the locals that more development projects will be launched in the area for ensuring better amenities.
The senior BJP leader asserted that the developmental works will be accelerated in coming days as many of them have been approved and will contribute for the improvement of the basic amenities. He said that his focus is on the development projects for making the Gandhi Nagar constituency as a Model Constituency and uplifting the living standards of the people by providing all the basic amenities.
Kavinder also asked the BJP activists to reach to the door steps of the people to aware them about the Centrally Sponsored Schemes and gather the data of the problems being faced by the inhabitants so that the genuine demands are met in a phased manner.
Among others who were present included Ranjeet Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Surjeet Kumar, Abhinanadan Sharma, Karan Singh, Yash Raj, Suresh Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Mulkh Raj, Balwan Singh, Ajeet Bhadwal, Sanjeev Koul and Bhanu Singh.
