RAJOURI, Mar 29: BJP State general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta accompanied by Mohd Arif, Chairman of the Municipal Committee, Rajouri and Kamal Bakshi, BJP district vice president, Rajouri today visited Khoera in Rajouri. During his tour, Vibodh interacted with various delegations and locals raised their various day to day issues before the visiting leader.
While addressing a gathering in the area, Vibodh said that today entire Jammu & Kashmir is going through a positive phase of massive transformation. This he said is visible from various developmental projects going on at a very fast pace in every nook and corner of the UT. While appreciating a large number of measures taken for further transparency by LG administration, Vibodh said that these measures have boosted the sustainable and equitable development in the entire UT of J&K.
Reacting to recent statement made by NC leader, Omar Abdullah regarding abrogation of Article 370, Vibodh said that message for such leaders is loud and clear that abrogation of Article 370 has provided best Constitutional safeguard to Jammu & Kashmir. He further added that leaders from NC and PDP never bothered about the welfare of common masses but always used states’ special status for their own petty gains. Now with the abrogation of Article 370 these leaders stand exposed and the common man will never spare them for their miss rule, Vibodh added.
Reacting to various issues raised by locals, Vibodh said that he will raise them at appropriate forums for their early resolution.
Mohd Arif, Chairman of the Municipal Committee Rajouri called upon everyone to support the staff of Municipal Committee in keeping the Rajouri town neat and clean. He also threw light on various measures being taken to facelift the Rajouri town so that it can become a major tourist attraction in future. In his address, Kamal Bakshi, BJP district vice president Rajouri called upon everyone present to become part of the vision and mission of PM Modi so that J&K can become a model UT of India.
Prominent among others who were present in the meeting included Khaliq Firdos BDC Chairman, Lam, Ashwani Kochar, Khaliq Ahamand, Khadim Hussian Chib, Chander Kumar, Vicky Sharma, Kuldip Kumar and Yog Raj Sharma.
