BHADERWAH, Mar 16: A delegation of ABVP Doda unit submitted a memorandum to ADC Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar Bhagat demanding the introduction of Commerce stream, Geography and EVS subject in Govt Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Bhaderwah.
The delegation led by ABVP Bhaderwah city secretary Shailesh Razdan apprised to the ADC that in today’s competition era, every student should have the right opportunity to choose subjects as per his /her interest but unfortunately the girl students of GHSS Bhaderwah are suffering due to the non availability of Commerce stream and important subjects like Geography and Environmental Sciences.
The delegation said that Commerce stream is available in Boys Higher Secondary Bhaderwah but not in Girls Higher Secondary School. ABVP requested to the ADC Bhaderwah to make proposal for the introduction of these stream from session 2021 and forward the recommendation to the higher authorities.
The delegation comprised of Sandeep Charak, State Executive Council (SEC) member, ABVP Bhaderwah city treasurer Kashish Gupta, Shafia Banoo ,Govind Singh, Bittu Ram and others.
