“A number of such cases of narco terrorism were caught this year and last year also. Each case is being investigated thoroughly. In apparent reference to alertness of Police, he reminded about recent big recoveries, including 6-7 kg IED, which was to be fitted in a crowded area and busting of a module last week at Awantipora where a vehicle IED was to be used like Pulwama terror incident and a Fidayeen had also been got ready for the suicidal attack.
“I assure you that all such activities on ground are being neutralized and strict vigil is being maintained to foil nefarious designs of the anti-national elements,” he maintained and reiterated that arms and explosives were being recovered and if any incident of terror attack takes place, the investigations detect the accused and strict action is taken as per law.
