JAMMU, Jan 18: A delegation of J&K BJP led by Raju Chandel met Prahlad Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader and brother of PM Narendra Modi and made him aware about the issues of J&K.
The delegation comprised J&K BJP Vice President, Abdul Rehman; Senior Vice President, Shamim Bano; Body Building Sports Association President, Sewa Singh Bali; BJP leader, Sanjeev Verma and others and they presented Modi jacket and Kashmiri shawl to the RSS leader.
Chandel informed the RSS leader about the unemployment problem of J&K youth and said the Government should immediately fulfill its promise of providing employment to the children of 800 Kashmiri Pandit families who had never migrated from Kashmir.
He also said that the teachers who were removed from job should be immediately reinstated.
Issue of regularization of 3500 SPOs was also raised on this occasion.
The delegation also raised the issue of protesting employees of Dharmarth Trust and said that government should bring all the temples and shrines of J&K under some shrine board for proper care and maintenance of these religious places and employees at these religious places should be paid salaries by the Government as is being done in other States.
