JAMMU, Nov 21: Prof Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta was today assigned the charge of the Head, Department of Social and Preventive Department, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
Dr Rajiv was give the charge of HoD in pursuance to Government Order Number 865-JK (HME) of 2020 Dated 20-11-2020, wherein Dr Dinesh Kumar, Incharge Principal GMC Doda, presently holding the additional charge of HoD Community Medicine, GMC Jammu, was assigned the charge of the post of Principal GMC Doda on full term basis.
Prof Gupta is alumni of GMC Jammu. He finished his MBBS in 1987 and MD (PSM) in 2000. He joined as faculty in April 2006 and elevated to the post of Professor in June 2016.
