BHADERWAH, Nov 11: The Ex-servicemen League Doda today paid floral tributes to the three martyrs of Machil encounter who made supreme sacrifice for the nation while fighting with the terrorists.
The Ex-servicemen League members gathered at Bhaderwah town to pay tributes to the slain personal who laid down their lives for the sovereignty of the nation.
The tribute paying ceremony was organised at historical Chowgan Chowk, Bhaderwah in which beside ex-servicemen of the area, senior citizens and other residents also participated.
“We paid tribute to the brave soldiers who attained martyrdom in the battle against terrorists in Machil sector. We are proud of them,” said Raj Singh Charak, president Ex-servicemen League Doda.
“We salute the supreme sacrifice of Captain Ashutosh Kumar, Havaldar CH Praveen Kumar and Sepoy Ryada Maheshwar and all of us have gathered here to offer deepest condolences to the families,” Charak added.
