JAMMU, Oct 10: Giving momentum to development in Gangyal area, Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the work of lane and drain at Sector-3 Gangyal of Gandhi Nagar constituency today. Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that the work was being done to fulfil the promises made to the people before the municipal elections. He said that till today the development work was pending in Gangyal but now they have been taken up in hand and will be completed in stipulated time frame. He expressed his gratitude to the people of Gangyal for the love given to him by them.
Billawaria said that earlier in the name of development only drums and name plates were seen on the walls but the development has been started by the BJP Government from the ground level. He said that the general public was exploited by the Congress on the name of development while no development was done on ground. He stated that the BJP is the only party that is committed to solve the problems of the people and as a BJP worker he is bound to solve every problem of the people not in his Ward but entire Jammu.
He said that the BJP works on the basic principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is working at every level to provide all kinds of basic facilities to the people even during the Corona pandemic, Billawaria added. Ranjit Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Ashok Pandita, Abhinandan Sharma, Jugal Kishore, Durga Chaudhary, Harvinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
