Jammu, Sept 14: Aryans Business School, Rajpura, near Chandigarh and University Canada West, Canada jointly organized a webinar on “Canada: The Next Emerging MBA Destination”.
Dipansh Singla, Business Development Manager, University Canada West interacted with the faculty members and Aryans students of Management, Engineering, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy, Education and Agriculture.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the webinar.
Singla while interacting with the students said that Canada has long been an attractive study destination for overseas MBA students due to ease of getting a work permit but the demand is now skyrocketing. Graduates from the MBA program can stay to work for up to three years with a post-graduate work permit.
Singla added that compared to many other countries, Canada’s post-MBA visa policies are quite liberal as last year 10,950 former study permit holders became permanent residents. Canada ranks 7th in the world for Entrepreneurship and Open for Business according to Best Countries. The business schools in Canada are on a big overseas recruitment drive, he explained.
Singla further said that students can join Canadian Universities through Aryans Group of Colleges. The students need to qualify the course eligibility criteria like IELTS score and minimum academic requirements.
According to the Graduate Management Admissions Council, Canadian business schools reported a 7.7 percent rise in applications last year, helped by strong demand from international candidates, who are attracted by the progressive immigration policies and an environment that is welcoming international students, he mentioned.
