SAMBA, Apr 18: The Education authorities sealed a private school which was functioning illegally in Nud Samba today.
According to reports the school under the name of Agape International Missionary Convent School owned by one Benny Thomas was closed by Education authorities during their on spot visit to the school today.
The School which was opened few months back without proper permission in the area was functioning illegally and the Zonal Education officer Vijaypur had submitted a detailed report to Chief Education officer in this regard.
As there was hue and cry in the area about the functioning of school illegally and with some newspapers of the area also publishing reports about the same the CEO Samba was left with no option but to visit the school on April 7. He gave two days notice to school to submit the papers and after the management failed to do the same he issued instructions to ZEO Vijaypur to seal the school today.
