99 test +ve in J&K, 8 in Ladakh

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Nov 3: Ninety nine persons today tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir and eight in Ladakh.
Kashmir division reported 81 fresh cases while the Jammu region recorded 18.
Nine new cases were registered in Jammu district, four in Doda, two each in Rajouri and Ramban and one in Reasi district. Rest of the districts in the Jammu region didn’t report any cases.
Seven persons recovered from the virus leaving number of active positive cases in the Jammu region to 112.
All eight COVID positive cases in Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
The UT of Ladakh now has 81 active positive cases including 76 in Leh district and five in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 81 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 48 from Srinagar, 11 from Baramulla, 3 from Budgam, 4 from Kupwara, 1 from Anantnag, 2 from Bandipora and 12 from Ganderbal.
The number of positive cases in Kashmir division has reached 208,177 including 205,081 recoveries and 2,262 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 846 including 834 from Kashmir division.
With 69 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 322,556 which is 98.38 percent of the total cases.
