NEW DELHI: A group of 90 school children from Jammu and Kashmir Friday met Union Minister Jitendra Singh here.
The students, belonging to Bandipora and Samba districts of J&K, comprised 11 girls and 79 boys.
They are on ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
“They have visited various places in Delhi like Qutub Minar, Lal Quila, Lotus Temple and India Gate, among others. The students have also visited Agra,” an official statement said.
While interacting with the students, Singh said the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made many efforts to bring development in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
