Srinagar, Dec 1: Senior Congress leader Imran Kidwai while campaigning for the party’s candidate for volatile Tral constituency Ghulam Mohammad Mir said that Bharatiya Janta party’s Government was a result of anti-incumbency of the Congress led United Progressive Alliance and some other miscellaneous factors.
He said that it is a myth that BJP has been able to polarize the people of India on communal lines.
” 90 percent of the people in India whether Hindus and Muslims are secular, the example of which has been shown by them from last 1000 years,” said Kidwai adding that communalism has not dominated the sec ular India and if there was something like that it was just like a bubble which would vanish soon.
Kidwai on mission 44plus said that first BJP should complete mission 24 and then think about 44.
“Congress does not believe in missions but wants to remain among the people and would accept any verdict that people would pass,” said Kidwai, adding they did not believe in missions.
He said that they did not believe in many missions and would emerge as successful in these Assembly elections.
