RAJOURI, Aug 22: The police and Mining authorities seized nine vehicles for illegal mining in Rajouri area today.
Official sources said that two dumpers, five tippers and two trolleys have been seized by team led by DMO Rajouri Mohd Naseeb and handed over to police till the realization of penalty. The police team assisted the Minising officials.
These vehicles were transporting minor minerals without e- Challan. These vehicles were indulging in illegal practice. The vehicles seized were bearing registration No. JK 11 A- 2087, JK 11B- 1804, JK 11 A- 6068, HR 73 B 3951, HR 73 B 2553 and JK 11 D 8886. The transporters involved in transportation of minor minerals are advised to transport mineral material with e- Challan otherwise strict action shall be taken against violators. The police team was led by SHO Rajouri Aejaz Wani.
