DODA, Sept 4: Nine persons were injured in head on collision between tempo traveller and Santro car near Malhori area of Khelani today.
As per police sources, today early morning a tempo traveller bearing registration number JK17-0353 collided head on with Santro car bearing registration numner JK02AK-9102 near Malhori area of Khelani, resulting into injuries to nine persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started rescue operation.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Doda in police and other vehicles, where their condition was stated to be out of danger.
The injured were identified as Omi Chand, son of Sarban of Tantana Gundana, Maqbool Ali, son of Habibullah of Gundana, Jagdish Raj, son of Shiv Kumar of Tantana Gundana, Gurbeet Sharma, son of Lakshmi Ram of Tantana Gundana, Jagir Ali, son of Showkat Ali of Protti Padarna, Deepak Lal, son of Neel Kanth of Malwana, Amit, son of Deepak Lal of Malwana, Manesh Kumar, son of Ajay Kumar of District Ramban and Babu Ram, son of Neel Kanth of Malwana.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
