JAMMU, Mar 16: Nine persons were injured in vehicles collision near Gumpul area, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanachack.
As per police sources, a truck, bus and a motorcycle collided near Gumpul area of Purkhoo today, resulting into injuries to 9 persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started rescue operation.
All the injured persons were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment. Three injured persons were shifted to GMCH Jammu for specialised treatment.
The injured were identified as Raj Kumar, son of Sai Dass of Tehsil Vijaypur District Samba, Charan Dass, son of Kartar Chand of Gidyal, Neelam Devi, wife of DN Sopori of Bantalab, Ram Lal, son of Sain Dass of Kachrayal Tehsil Khour, Reeta Devi, wife of Vipan Mangotra of Shiv Nagar Rajpura District Jammu, Champa Devi, wife of Bansi Lal of Purmandal Morh Jhallo Chak, Rekha Devi, wife of Yog Raj of Purmandal Morh Jhallo Chak, Pritam Singh Manhas, son of Atar Singh of Mishriwala Jammu and Brij Mohini, wife of Jai Kumar Sharma of Muthi.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
