Srinagar, Aug 3: Police today said that 9 persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said that in Anantnag district, a tipper bearing registration number JK03B-7721 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03C-7159 at Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist namely Jamshid Ahmad.
A Santro vehicle bearing registration number JK09-1257 hit and injured an eleven year old boy, Furkan Ahmad Mir at Shumnag in Trehgam area of Kupwara district, the police spokesman said, adding that the injured was
shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. In another incident, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK04A-2225 collided with Alto car bearing registration number JK09A-3314 at Kumriyal in the district resulting in injuries to five persons, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist hit and injured a pedestrian namely Mohammad Asgar Amargarh in Sopore Town of Baramulla district.
