UDHAMPUR, May 13: Nine persons were seriously injured when an under-construction Kacha house collapsed at village Matlowa in Latti tehsil, here today.
The mishap took place when a pillar of the under construction house caved in resulting into collapse of the entire roof. Local villagers rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to PHC Latti, where doctors referred two of them to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Raj Kumar (30), son of Dina of Matlowa, Ashok Kumar (33) son of Fambi of Pattan Garh, Balbir (18) son of Rattan Lal of Matlowa, Sunil Kumar (18) son of Ashok Kumar of Matlowa, Mohan Lal (40) son of Teju of Matlowa, Darshan Kumar (50) son of Ishar Dass of Matlowa, Shankaru (33) son of Dina of Matlowa, Kuldeep Kumar (18) son of Subash of Matlowa and Kewal Kumar (29) son of Mulkh Raj of Matlowa.
