JAMMU, Mar 11: Police booked 9 drug peddlers-cum-addicts.
As per police sources, taking stringent action against drug peddlers/addicts, a joint police team including SHO Bagh-e-Bahu, SHO Bahu Fort Inspector and Incharges of Police Posts Bhatindi and Narwal under the supervision of SDPO City East Rajinder Rahi and SP South Vinay Sharma conducted special exercise in Qasim Nagar and Rajiv Nagar areas and booked nine drug peddlers-cum-addicts.
The special focus was given on locations where illegal immigrants were settled.
“The aim of this exercise was to make the people aware against the drug menace and to seek their co-operation in curbing this evil from the society”, said SP City South Vinay Kumar.
