JAMMU, Mar 23: As Ramnavmi gift, IGP Jammu Zone Dr SD Singh today promoted 865 Constables 2 Head Constables (HCs) and 1 SgCt.
The decision of promotion of the cops was taken during 8th DPC, which was held under the chairmanship of IGP Jammu Zone.
SO to IGP JZ, Rajesh Sharma, SSP, Additional SP PCR, Jammu, Atul Sharma, Deputy Director Prosecution, TADA Court Jammu Parshotam Lal and Inspector (Personnel) ZPHQ, Jammu Deshbir Singh were members on the board constituted to conduct the DPC.
SD Singh, IGP Jammu Zone expressed hope that this promotion will act as a moral booster to rededicate themselves to work even with more zeal and enthusiasm thereby bringing laurels to the Police Department.
