Srinagar, Jan 1: The Government today created 8 new Police Stations and Police posts in Srinagar and Budgam districts.
These Police Stations are Ahmad Nagar, Sangam, Chanpora, Bemina and Shalteng and Police Posts Tengpora under PS Batmaloo, Khimber under PS Zakoora and Machowa under PS Chadoora.
The new Police Stations have been carved out of PS Soura, Safa Kadal, Saddar, Batmaloo, Parimpora, Nowgam and Shairgari.
