8 injured in road accidents

KATHUA, Apr 23: Eight people were injured in two separate road accidents in Kathua district today.
According to police seven persons were injured traveling in a Tata Sumo and a Maruti 800 which were on way from Jammu to Pathankot when the Sumo bearing number PB08AJ4132 hit the Maruti bearing number JK02AG 9162 on National Highway at Kali Bari this afternoon.
All the injured have been admitted in DH Kathua for treatment and their condition is stated to be out of danger.
The Kathua police has registered a case under relevant sections of law.
In another accident one lady was injured after the scooty on which she was riding was hit by a car at Pali this evening.
The lady was identified as Jaswinder Kaur, wife of Rakesh Kumar of Rajbagh District Kathua. She was admitted in DH Kathua for treatment. The Kathua Police has registered a case under Section 379/337 RPC.
