SRINAGAR, June 10: Eight persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05B/7892 rolled down from the road near Shilwat-Sumbal in Bandipora district, resulting in injuries to five passengers. The injured Syed Ahmad Shah son of Syed Hussain resident of Nowgam, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat son of Abdul Aziz resident of S.K Bala, Zoona Begum wife of Abdul Rehman Dar, Fehmida Begum wife of Abdul Hamid and Hidayat Ali son of Abdul Hamid residents of Murtazaabad Inderkote were shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard.
A bus bearing registration number JK01C/6032 and a Trawler collided near Wagub-Sopore on Srinagar-Baramulla, resulting in injuries to three passengers namely Ghulam Nabi Lone son of Mohammad Akbar, Shabir Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Rasool and Ghulam Nabi Peer son of Ghulam Mohammad residents of Wagub-Sopore. The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment.
