RAJOURI, Sept 2: Excise Department sleuths during raids at several villages in district Rajouri today destroyed 750 kg Lahan and seized large quantity of illicit liquor.
Official sources said that the team led by ETO Rajouri -Poonch Range, Sheraz Ahmed Chouhan and ETO Suresh Kumar Sharma (EW), assisted by Insp Mohd Parvez and other staff conducted raids at villages- Syal, Lam, Sasalkote, Seri, Rajal, Siot, Baja Bain, Doongi, Agrati, Bareri, Narian, Dabbar and other places and seized 20 bottles of liquor and 750 kg Lahan. Two persons namely Bodh Raj and Paloksha Devi from Bareri village were also arrested under Excise Act.
