75 pc students pass Class 11 exams

Srinagar, May 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) today announced the Class 11 Annual results, with 75 percent of students declared qualified.
According to the details, a total of 1,21,646 candidates were enrolled—60,819 from Jammu and 60,958 from Kashmir—for the exam. Of these, 91,332 candidates passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 75 percent.

As per officials, the result has improved by 3 per cent in comparison to the last year.
Gender-wise, 72 percent of boys passed the exam, while 78 percent of girls qualified the Class 11 Annual examination.
Among those who passed, 29 percent secured distinction, 34 percent achieved first division, and 23 percent of students were declared “reappear.” Meanwhile, 2 percent of the students—2,712 in total—failed the exam.
