JAMMU, Jan 17: Police here today seized seven vehicles involved in illegal mining.
On specific inputs multiple raids were conducted on suspected locations by police teams of Police Station Kanachak, Police Posts Phallain Mandal, Pouni Chak and Chatha and seven vehicles involved in illegal mining were seized.
These vehicles included one tractor trolley without registration number seized by Police Station Kanachak,
four tractor trollies seized by Police Post Phallain Mandal, one tractor trolley without registration no. seized by Police Post Pouni Chak and one tractor trolley seized by Police Post Chatha.
The recoveries were made by SHO Police Station Kanachak Inspector Rahul Mahajan, I/C PP Phallain Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, I/C PP Pouni Chak SI Ram Rattan and I/C PP Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
