JAMMU, Feb 15: Police in Jammu District claimed to have seized seven vehicles involved in illegal mining from different areas on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson said that two tractor trolleys were seized by Police Station Akhnoor, one dumper by Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu, and one tractor each by Police Station Gharota, Police Post Jourian, Police Post Gadigarh, and BPP Kirpalpur.
“The vehicles were involved in mining in violation of order of High Court of J&K,” said the spokesperson, adding, “DMO Jammu has been intimated about the seizures”.
