UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: Seven persons were injured in road accidents, here today.
As per police reports, a auto bearing registration number JK14B-0367, was on its way from Chenani to Shudhmhadev, when it met with accident near Bashat, causing injuries to five persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to SDH Chenani, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports poured in.
The injured persons have been identified as Jash Paul (27), son of Balwant Singh of Chalyar, Ravi Kumar (29), son of Amar Chand of Champyari, Rakesh Kumar (30), son of Mohan Lal of Bashat, Prbeash Husan (22), son of Shaqi Mohammad of Bashat and Anil Sharma (30), son of Romesh Chand of Champyari.
A case in this regard has been registered at Chenani police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian was injured after he was hit by a motorcycle near DC office, while a pillion rider was injured, when the motorcycle he was riding on slipped at Khari.
The injured persons identified as Ashok Kumar (62), son of Manprkash of Barrian and Mohammad Sahil (13), son of Mohd Kasam of Kathua were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur, where they were responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
Concerned police has taken cognizance in this regard.
