UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: Seven persons were injured in two different road accidents at By- pass National Highway, here today.
Two motorcyclists and equal number of their pillion riders were injured in a collision of their bikes near Talab Sailan. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. They were identified as Sumit Singh (18) son of Uttam Singh and Abhishek (18) son of Suram Singh of Mukhrji Bazar Udhampur, Ravi Kumar (35) son of Sadhu Ram and Bhushan Sharma (18) son of Mulkh Raj of Bassan Ritti Udhampur.
In view of serious injuries, Sumit Singh was referred to GMC&H Jammu.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, a Scooty skidded of the road near Bhim Singh College Battal Balian by- pass National Highway, resulting into injuries to three youths. Locals took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured were identified as Arun Kumar (25) son of Yog Raj, Sumit Kumar (26) son of Mohan Lal and Ansh (17) son of Suresh Kumar. All are resident of village Malad in Udhampur.
