RAJOURI, Aug 28: Continuing its efforts to tighten noose against people involved in unlawful activities, especially drugs trafficking, Rajouri police today took seven more persons into preventive custody and lodged them in District Jail.
Detention order’s were issued by Executive Magistrate, these seven persons include Imtiaz Ali son of Ali Mohammad resident of Karyote Thanamandi, Amir Sambyal, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Hasplote Thanamandi, Rahil Sharma, son of Sardari Lal, resident of Kheora Rajouri, Ajay Kumar, son of Bhola Sharma resident of Thandikassi, Mohd Safeer son of Mohd Rashid Jatt resident of Dhani Dhar, Vicky Sharma, son of Ashok Kumar resident of Jawahar Nagar and Mohd Basharat, son of Anwar Hussain Chowdhary, resident of Dhanore, Loharan.
All are habitual drug- peddlers and addicts were involved in unlawful activities and have been taken into preventive custody and further lodged in District Jail Dhangri by Police team led by SHO Rajouri Tahir Khan under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Govind Rattan and DySP Operations Sukhdev Singh.
