7 detained for unlawful activities

RAJOURI, Dec 20: Seven persons have been taken into preventive custody by police for indulging in unlawful activities.
Official sources said that six persons have been detained at Rajouri Police Station. They are- Ajay Kumar, son of Bhola Ram from Thandikassi; Lala, son of Varinder Kumar, resident of locality near Salani Bridge, Javed Bhat, son of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, resident of Ward No 8 Rajouri; Tahir Shah, son of Nazir Shah, resident of Dhani Dhar; Haroon Rashid, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Rajouri and Mohammad Asif, son of Mohammad Bashir, a resident of Kheora, Rajouri.
They have been detained under preventive measure under section 107/151/110 CrPC and produced before Executive Magistrate Ist class and have been lodged in District Jail, Rajouri.
Order was implemented by SHO Rajouri Ajaz Haider under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Govind Rattan.
Rajouri police also detained a notorious trouble maker and took him into preventive custody. He is said to be habitual alcoholic addict and a trouble creater in the family and public places. He has been identified as namely Mohammad Riaz, son of Mohammad Razaq, resident of Ward No 2, Nowshera.
Accused has been booked under sections 107/1051/110 CrPC and sent to judicial custody in District Jail Dhangri. His detention order was issued by Executive Magistrate Nowshera and was implemented by SHO Nowshera Mohammad Amin under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Khaliq Hussain.
