UDHAMPUR, Sept 3: Udhampur Police today rescued seven bovines, which were being smuggled to Kashmir.
Team of Police Station Panchari foiled the bovine smuggling bid in its area by two smugglers who were taking the animals towards Sanasar valley on foot. On seeing police party, both the accused persons fled away from the spot.
All the bovines were rescued and later shifted to a safer place. In this regards, case FIR No. 46/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Panchari. Further investigation of the case is underway, said Police.
