JAMMU, Jan 19: The 663rd birth anniversary of Shri Shri Baba Lal Dayal Ji Maharaj was celebrated at Lal Dhwara, Jain Bazaar, here today.
On the occasion, a grand function was organized wherein devotees from different parts of the State as well other areas of the country participated for seeking blessings of Yogriraj Shri Shri 1008 Baba Lal Dayal Ji.
In the morning, aarti was performed, followed by cake cutting ceremony.
One of the function organizers Raj Bhushan Shastri informed that on January 18, Akhand Ramcharitmanas path commenced, which concluded today morning.
A prabhat pheri was also taken out today, which passed through various areas of the Jammu City including Chowk Chabutra, Lakhdatta Bazaar, Purani Mandi, Circular Road, etc, he added.
In the function, VC JAKFED Munish Sharma, MLC Ramesh Arora and various prominent persons participated.
A day long community fest was also organized today for the devotees, Bhushan Sharma added.
While speaking, the speakers said that for the whole life, Baba Ji served as a great source of teaching and inspiration for the people from all walks of life. They said that present era is the highest time that we must learn from the lives of great saints and accordingly mould ourselves so that we can live in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
