64th ranking proud moment for us: JU VC

JAMMU, Apr 6: Complim-enting all the stake-holders of Jammu University after conferment of 64th ranking to the varsity among 100 top universities of the country, Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof R D Sharma, today said that this has become possible due to hard-work, dedication and single-mindedness of the management, faculty, staff, scholars and students.
“We feel honoured on being accorded distinction of being one of the top most universities of the country”, Prof Sharma said while addressing the faculty members, officers, staff scholars and students.
The VC said that this would not have been possible without team work, synergy between various wings and tireless efforts of all the stakeholders. While the successful convocation is yet another feather to the university, the conferment of ranking is yet another milestone in the cherished odyssey of the institution; he said and hoped that this spirit will be maintained in years to come.
Prof Sharma said that the honour bestowed upon the University has added more responsibilities to all the stakeholders to excel further and maintain the pace with success in times to come. He complimented the entire team for their enormous work, spread over weeks, in making the convocation a huge event. “This has once again established our credential as good managers and organizers”, he added.
The Vice Chancellor hoped that the scholars and students will excel in all disciplines and continue to bring laurels to the University in order to further improve the rankings.
