JAMMU, Oct 7: As many as 62 civilians exchanged sides in a weekly Poonch-Rawlakote Bus Service via Chakka-da-Bagh on the Line of Control in Poonch district.
‘No Indian citizen from this side went across the line while 34 residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir returned back to their native places in a weekly bus service when the gates were opened this afternoon at around 1350 hrs,’ an official here told re.
He said from other side of the border, single Indian citizen returned back to his place while 27 fresh PoK residents also reached Chakka-Da-Bagh to meet their relatives.
The gates however, were closed at 1410 hrs. Senior police officials and members of district administration were also present on the spot. (UNI)
