6 tractor trolleys seized for extracting minerals from Tawi

JAMMU, Feb 12: Police seized 6 tractor trolleys for extracting minerals from river Tawi.
As per police sources, police taking cognizance of violations going on in river Tawi bed area by mining mafia against the orders of High Court seized 6 tractor trolleys which were extracting minerals from river tawi.
All the tractor trolleys have been challaned for violating to High Court order WIPPL No 19/2012 and the challans will be produced in the court.
Police parties headed by SHO Nagrota Inspector Mohammad Showket and Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Zaheer Mushtaq carried out the operation and seized the vehicles under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma.
