JAMMU, June 11: Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of State Government today ordered appointment of six Sub-Judges as District Judges.
According to the order issued by Law Secretary, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, four Sub-Judges namely S C Kattal, Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Virender Singh Bhau and Khalil Ahmad Choudhary have been appointed as District Judges against clear vacancies.
Two Sub-Judges namely Rajeev Gupta and Chain Lal Bavoria have been appointed as District Judges against the vacancies caused due to ex-cadre posting of two District Judges for a period of six months or till the posts are filled up by the regular process as provided under Rule 20 of the J&K Higher Judicial Service Rules, 2009.
