JAMMU, Aug 4: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Rajouri today conducted extensive tour of Thannamandi sub division and attached six employees of Rural Development Department (RDD).
Official sources said that after receiving several public complaints that VLWs and other staff members of BDO blocks of the area were not making lists of job card holders on line and delaying payments of the poor workers on different pretexts, the ACD Rajouri Noor Alam conducted surprise visit to the area and found several employees absent from duty and also established that public complaints were genuine.
After this, he attached six employees of the RDD to the district office at Rajouri and also initiated inquiry against them. The employees against whom action is being taken are- Shah Faisal-VLW Tota Morha, Mohd Ilias MPW Pangai, Muktiar Ahmed MPW Thannamandi, Mohd Tareef VLW Rajdani, Mohd Shabir VLW and Noor Ahmed GRS.
