Jammu, Aug 28: Jhajjar Kotli police today rescued six bovine animals and seized the vehicle carrying them.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party recovered a vehicle bearing registration number JK02AC-3905 from a “khad” and rescued 6 bovine animals.
He said that the bovines were stolen and were illegally being transported to Valley.
A case has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station under FIR number 119/13 and manhunt has been launched to arrest the driver and owner of the vehicle.
