JAMMU, Apr 7: Phalain Mandal police rescued 6 bovine animals and arrested a smuggler.
As per police sources, a team from Phalain Mandal laid a naka and intercepted a person carrying flock of bovines.
During questioning, the man failed to give satisfactory reply and was arrested by the police. Six bovines were rescued from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Mussa, son of Noor Hassan of Gandu Chak.
A case under FIR Number 59/16 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Satwari police station and investigation started.
