KATRA, July 22: The Electric Sub Transmission Division Udhampur successfully commissioned 6.3MVA transformer along with its On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) panel and 11KV outgoing panel of PHE at Tarakote.
With commissioning of this transformer along with OLTC panel and 11 KV outgoing panal of PHE, the lifting capacity of water will raise to 16 lakh gallons which will solve the water scarcity problem of Katra town.
The Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma lauded the efforts of Superintendent Engineer, M&RE Circle Batote, Bavinder Kundal and Executive Engineer, STD Udhampur, along with AEE Surinder Kumar, Sub Division Katra and concerned field staff for this achievement.
