JAMMU: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has put on hold the acquisition of land for construction of 135- feet wide ‘composite bund’ (embankment) along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu, the State Government said today.
In a written reply to a question raised by BJP MLA Kuldeep Raj in the Assembly, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today said the BSF had placed the indent for the acquisition of land for the construction of the bund.
Mufti said initially it was taken up in three districts of Jammu, Samba and Kathua. (AGENCIES)
