NEW DELHI, Feb 6: Refined soya oil prices eased 0.11 per cent to Rs 739.90 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators engaged in reducing bets amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in February shed 85 paise, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 739.90 per 10 kg with an open interest of 33.790 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in March contracts was trading lower by 80 paise, or 0.11 per cent, at Rs 744 per 10 kg in 27,500 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by traders owing to slackened demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions kept refined soya oil futures down. (PTI)
