JAMMU/SRINAGAR, Feb 16: Fifty eight persons today tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir while 46 others recovered from the virus.
Only 11 persons were found infected by the virus in Jammu region today including eight in Jammu district, two Udhampur and one Poonch.
Seven persons recovered from COVID-19 in Jammu district.
Jammu region now has 51780 Corona cases. Among them, 165 are active positives while 50890 have recovered from the virus and there have been 725 casualties in the region.
Meanwhile, 47 persons tested positive in Kashmir for COVID-19 today.
Those who tested positive include 33 from Srinagar, 4 Baramulla, 1 Budgam, 4 Pulwama, 4 Anantnag and 1 from Kulgam.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 73,636 including 71,954 recoveries and 1,226 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 629 including 464 from Kashmir division.
With 46 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 122,883, which is 97.95 percent of the total cases.
