SRINAGAR, June 8: Government today said 58 Madrassas (Islamic seminaries) have been provided financial assistance under Scheme to Provide Quality Education in Madrassas (SPQEM) in Kashmir Division.
The information was given by Education Minister Naeem Akhtar in reply to a question of MLC Sofi Yousuf in Upper House. The Minister informed that these Madrassas have been provided assistance by the State Government under Centrally sponsored SPQEM programme.
