JAMMU, Feb 24: Deputy Inspector General, (DIG) IRP Jammu has granted Insitu promotion to 57 Police Personnel, including Head-Constables and Selection Grade Constables of various Battalions of IR Jammu Zone with nine year service and a clean record.
The promotion has been granted on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee constituted for the purpose. The Committee cleared the promotion of (9) Head Constables and (48) SG Constables who will get the next higher scale of pay in their respective rank.
