Liz Dawn back at home from hospital

LONDON, Sept 18:  Actor Liz Dawn is back at home after a health scare left her hospitalised for two weeks.
The “Coronation Street” legend was admitted to hospital with severe breathing problems, leaving friends and family “fearing the worst”.
Fortunately, Liz made a full recovery and was discharged on Friday and is now being cared for back at home by relatives, reported Daily Mirror.
“We’re so relieved to have her back home,” her husband Don Ibbotson said.
“At one point she took very bad and we thought the worst but she fought back, its amazing and now she seems to be getting stronger by the day.”
Liz played Vera Duckworth on Coronation Street for more than 34 years, having first appeared on the soap in 1974 and leaving in 2008 after her character peacefully died in her sleep of heart failure. (PTI)
