Ready to face any challenge, says Jammu BSF IG

 

JAMMU:  Asserting that suitable reply has been given to Pakistan, Jammu Frontier BSF Inspector General Ram Avtar today said the security force is ready to face any challenge on border.

 “Pakistan is violating ceasefire out of frustration and we are giving appropriate reply to them,” the IG told reporters on the sidelines of wreath laying ceremony of BSF jawan who attained marytrdom in cross border firing.

 “Pakistan under the cover of bullets is trying to push infiltrators on our side but our jawans are keeping vigil and will not allow them to succeed in their nefarious design,” said the BSF officer.

    He said launching pads are there across the border, adding, “in coming days challenges are there but we are ready to face any thing the way we are doing.”

   Mr Avtar, however, confirmed that two Pakistani soldiers have also been killed across the border in Arnia sector in retaliatory firing from BSF. (A
